Dr. Sriniwas Kumar , M.A., Ph.D

Dr. Sriniwas Kumar joined this college as principal in the year 2021. Prior to that, he served as an associate professor of Hindi in this college. He began his career in the year 1996 as a lecturer in Hindi at Jawahar Lal Nehru College, Chakradharpur. After that, in 23rd May, 2019 he moved to Kolhan University, Chaibasa and became HOD of Hindi from 28 th May, 2019. Thereafter he returned to Jawahar Lal Nehru College, Chakradharpur as an associate professor of Hindi and from 8 th December, 2021onwards he is serving as a Principal-in-charge of the college. He has received Ph.D. degree from Ranchi University in 2005.He has spent almost twelve years exclusively in other than the teaching job. His area of interests includes modern Hindi literature, stories and novels.
