Jawahar Lal Nehru College, Chakradharpur

The brief chronological timelines of our college:

1967 – Jawahar Lal Nehru College founded by Late. Rudra Pratap Sarangi, (MLC).

1967 – Prof. K.M Mishra became first Principal of the college.

1980 – J.L.N College became a constituent unit of Ranchi University Ranchi (Parent University of                   Kolhan University, Chaibasa)

1994 – Vocational departments opened.

2005 – B.Ed courses opened.

2010 to 2011 – M.A. class is added in Hindi and Commerce

2011 – Wi-fi connectivity installed in college campus.

2012 – College Website formerly launched

2022 – Digital facilities installed on class rooms

2024 – College Website updated to a new status
